Experiences of adversity, trauma and stress are very common and happen to people from every walk of life.
These experiences can have a lasting impact on our bodies, minds and spirits. But they don’t have to! Simple things like sturdy relationships, spiritual practice and fostering a sense of worth can heal individuals and communities.
Risking Connection in Faith Communities is workshop developed by the Sidran Institute to equip faith leaders (clergy and lay) to build trauma responsive congregations. This is a interfaith approach that draws from multiple religious traditions. Participants must attend both days.
Learning Goals. By the end of the workshop you will:
